Back to winning ways

After a couple of bad results on the bounce Star FC Manager Michael Bull wasn't afraid to change the team around in a much needed boost.

The first half was alot of back and forth with both teams looking to attack. Accs had the first change of the game when their striker broke through one on one with keeper Luke Johnson, in a 50/50 collision Luke come out on top getting to the ball a split second quicker.

Accies continued to press and their efforts paid off. They had a free kick midway through Star half, a ball into the box beating all players and unfortunately bouncing off a slippery surface, hitting the defender and finding the net.

1-0.

Star made the scores level with a great goal by Taylor Coles ( if he meant it ). Taylor whipped in a deep cross/shot from the right side, which had plenty of air time, beating the keeper and finding the top corner.

1-1

Half time. 1-1.

At the start of the second half Michael Bull made some much needed changes in order to get Star back in the driving seat. Ten minutes into the half the managers changes were rewarded when captain Jordan Mace stepped up and put Star in front with a volley.

1-2

Aaron Templeman made his Star FC debut midway through the second half and made an instant impact running through the accies midfield and defence popping it through to Jaydon Joseph who slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

1-3

Starwere now getting into their stride with Jaydon Joseph getting on the score sheet again, following up on a rebound from an Aaron King shot.

1-4

Aaron King Na the defender slipped when asron was pressuring him and he went through 1on1

Aaron King then got rewarded for his high pressing when the defender slipped and left Aaron one on one with the keeper, Aaron cool and calm slotted home to seal the victory.

1-5.

Overall a great display and good to get back to winning ways.
