Volunteer stewards required to support the two County games in February when Tregorrick turns Black and Gold!

The eyes of the Cornish rugby community will be all on St Austell RFC in February when Tregorrick hosts not one but two are hosting two Cornwall representative games.

Wednesday 21st February 2024 Kick-off 7:30pm
Cornwall U20s v Cornwall Clubs XV

Wednesday 28th February 2024 Kick-off 7:30pm
Cornwall v Royal Navy

We are appealing to all players and supporters to come forward and support the Club by volunteering as stewards to help ensure these events run smoothly, safely and are enjoyable occasions for everyone who attends.

We are looking for volunteers to fulfil a number of important roles at both games including:

  • Gate
  • Park and Ride – located at Penrice Academy
  • On-site Parking
  • Stand and Touchline marshalling
  • Clubhouse Stewards
  • Outside Bars
  • Liaison for Match Officials, Coaches, Media
  • Committee Hosting

All volunteers will be assigned a team leader and will receive a pasty and a free drinks voucher on the night. We would like as many of you as possible to arrive at 5pm but certainly by 6:30pm and our expectation is that you will be finished by 10:00pm once the bulk of the crowd has dispersed.

If you would like to get involved please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator Al Cummins 07902 216417

If you would like to get involved in other aspects of volunteering at the Club have look here, there are plenty of opportunities to suit your skills and availability.

Thank you for your support!
