Whatever your event requirements and budget we can help!

Here at St Austell Rugby Club, we can host Just about any kind of celebration from weddings to birthdays to retirements, regular or one off meetings, company away days, training courses, dance lessons, band practice, bingo, quizzes and... we could go on but you get the idea! If you have a venue problem, we might have the solution!

Finding a quality venue for your function, meeting or any other occasion that isn’t going to cost the earth and yet suits all your needs can be difficult. Let us tell you about how we can make having a function easy and affordable, listening to your initial idea, taking it right through to delivery.

Cost - Each function or event is different. We look at your requirements and build you an individual price, giving you the most efficient solution to your needs. Get in touch, tell us your plans and we'll give you a quote.

Here are some of the events we have successfully hosted. If you can't see what you want just ask:

*Birthday Parties – You can come in and decorate before the function
Christmas Parties - Function room will be fully decorated and feeling festive and our current offer us free room rental on parties booked with us in December
Wedding receptions – You can have that wedding at a fraction of the cost
Retirements – Say well done properly to your colleagues and friends
Christenings – Gather the family around and make it memorable. We have lots of grass areas for the kids to run off some steam.
Seminars – We will listen to your needs and help you to achieve your aims
External club meetings - are you a club but have no facilities? We can help.
Training and Away Days – Need a fresh environment for the day? We can support you in all respects from IT to refreshments.
Charity Fund Raisers - The perfect venue to hold a quiz, talent contest or just about anything you can think of to raise money for good causes

*Sorry, we don't host 18th's or 21st's.

Here's how we can help:

  • You don’t just get the facility! You also get our Functions Manager who has extensive experience in organising events of all types and sizes to help you FOR FREE; no need to be worried about booking that function now!
  • We have two functions rooms; each are charged out for a small fee. Contact us to find out how much (it differs due to size, time of day etc.);
  • Want food at your function? No problem! We can supply catering for you or you can bring your own in. *We will facilitate you coming in to set up at a time convenient to you;
  • Music - You can either bring in a DJ/disco if you require it (plenty available in the area) or book a band as we even have a music stage in one room!
  • Dancing - The rooms can configured to allow plenty of space for dancing, a sit-down meal or both – it’s up to you;
  • Drinks - Professionally staffed bar with competitive prices – Great wines, local beers and spirits to make your function go with a swing;
  • Car Parking - Free & private car parking for up to 120 cars;
  • Taxis - Star Cars have their office in our complex so they are close at hand to get your guests to the club or home at the end of your function (booking essential)

*If you need to set up over another potential booking day a charge may be levied.
