Cornish Pirates’ joint Head Coaches Gavin Cattle and Alan Paver will be passing on their knowledge for the benefit of coaches from across the community game.

Former Plymouth Albion RFC and Penzance & Newlyn RFC prop Alan Paver is a great student of front-row play and will be sharing his experience and knowledge to focus on the defensive side of the game. This will run from 6pm to 6.45pm.

Gavin Cattle has an impressive playing CV with spells at Orrell and Rotherham before joining the Pirates for three successful seasons. The spell culminated in him captaining the team to victory at Twickenham in April 2007, beating Exeter Chiefs 19-16 to lift the EDF Energy National Trophy. He moved to Llanell making 31 appearances for the Scarlets, including featuring in a Heineken Cup win against Stade Francais. Another successful spell in Cornwall followed with the Pirates becoming the first ever winners of the British & Irish Cup in 2010, beating Munster 13-14 in the final.

Gavin will run the second session covering attacking aspects from 6.45pm to 7.30pm.

Open to all coaches, the event commences at 6pm.
