Last season, we offered Non-Playing Memberships on a very honest basis, that we (along the rest of the planet) did not know what was ahead of us in terms of the pandemic. The Saints Family listened and supported us by buying VP, Cardinal and Supporter packages and became part of our survival plan at that time.

We are now happy to offer Non-Playing Memberships, confident of a full season.

The Exec have worked hard on this topic. We want those who buy memberships to feel valued. With that in mind, the benefits associated with each membership have been reviewed and massively enhanced. It really is going to pay dividends to be a member of St Austell RFC, starting from this season, as we emerge strongly from Covid.

First, let me explain the 3 different types of Non-Playing Membership:

Vice-President (VP)

This membership is for those with a strong association with the club, either as a player or someone who has helped the club in its efforts to deliver rugby and/or financial security or been associated with us for a long time. It comes with voting rights at our AGM and carries the most membership benefits as follows:

• Entry to all home league games
• Easy monthly payment scheme (5 monthly payments) if you need it
• Voting rights at the AGM
• Initial exclusive access to international tickets
• Automatic entry into a prize draw at each home game (but you must be there at the match to claim if your membership number is drawn)
• Two complimentary beer tokens at start of season
• Discount on function room rental
• Discounts on drinks at nominated club events
• Exclusive opportunity for annual group photo with the Saints Squad
• Inclusive ‘brick’ on the new Saints Supporters Wall (see separate article for details)
• Exclusive ‘VP’ tie in the new design if you don’t already have a player’s award scheme award.

Cardinal

Cardinals are those people with a strong association with the club, who have perhaps volunteered at Tregorrick and are willing to get involved. It comes with voting rights at our AGM and a number of benefits including:

• Entry to all home league games
• Easy monthly payment scheme (5 monthly payments) if you need it
• Voting rights at the AGM
• Automatic free entry into a members’ prize draw at each home game (but you must be there at the match to claim if you win)
• Two complimentary beer tokens at start of season
• Discount on function room rental
• Discounts on drinks at nominated club events
• Exclusive opportunity for annual group photo with the Saints Squad
• Option to purchase a ‘brick’ on the new Saints Supporters Wall (see separate article for details)

Supporter

The supporter membership is for those who love to watch the Saints playing at Tregorrick. It offers a financial benefit to those who expect to watch most if not all of the Saints home league games. It carries no voting rights at the AGM but the benefits include:

• Entry to all home league games
• Easy monthly payment scheme (2 monthly payments) if you need it

Prices

• VP - £125
• Cardinal with Brick on the new Saints Supporters Wall - £105
• Cardinal without Brick - £80
• Supporter with Brick - £75
• Supporter without Brick - £50

What is buying a brick I hear you ask? If you click HERE all will be revealed. Having the option of buying membership and a brick at the same time AND being able to spread the cost over a number of months is easier.

The packages are available to buy right now on GMS. If you know your password (or can reset it) you can sign on and make your purchase. The link to the St Austell RFC part of GMS is HERE . On signing in the main option you’ll see is ‘Buy Membership’. Once you press that its pretty much like buying something on Amazon or similar.

Membership cards will be 100% issued (as you are going to have to show then at the gate this season).
