Todays score does not reflect how Saints played on the pitch

Todays weather was a cold bitter January day with figures of -1 degree. The cold weather did not put any of our players off. In the first part of the game Saints were the chiefs and had the game on their side.

Today we had ferocious tackling from Ben Retallick, Tom, Ollie, Max, Callum, Charlie, Harry and Dave. Max got tackled in the middle of the pitch and gave it all he had. All of our squad gave their best to the game, well done to those who took part today you all played well and we are very proud of you.

The crowd enjoyed the game today even though it was cold, thank you to those parents that came and watched today, without you the boys would not be who they are.

CJ had a brilliant catch today, and our scrums today was very tight. Well done to all of the boys in the scrum, today a Redruth player suffered an injury to his neck in the scrum but did seem to recover.

Harry Behn tackled Redruth well and Saints had a penalty but failed to get the conversion.

The score today was not a true reflection of the game, Saints held their own and took great posession of the ball well done to all those that played, it must have been cold for you and no wonder you all took a long time to get out of those Showers!

Isaac was Man of the Match today for geting our only try of the day, well done to Isaac.
