St Austell Sinners vs Redruth 2nds

Following a successful cup run, Sinners face what may turn out to be their toughest challenge this Saturday when they face Redruth 2nds for the first time this season.

Following a surprise announcement by the CRFU, Redruth 2nds, who have not been around all season, have suddenly been “parachuted” into the league, and they come into it with us knowing nothing about them whatsoever.

That said, they will not be a sloppy side, especially with Redruth being a National 2 South level club, and it promises to provide a good spectacle of rugby as the Redruth squad is bound to include any players not selected for the Redruth home game against Redingensians RFC on the same day.

As always, Sinners side will be announced after the SAINTS selections are completed but that said we have a strong looking squad on paper who have all committed to be available. Please check the Sinners site towards the end of the week for details of who will be in this 21 player squad.

With a 2.00 pm kick off, please come along and make some noise in support of the Sinners and help us get off to a really good start. COYSinners!!!!

The Evening with Jack Nowell, Gareth Steenson and Thomas Waldrom is nearly upon us. It is confirmed that they are totally up for this and we are starting to get excited about what they are bringing in terms of chat and banter! Doors open at 6:30pm for drinks and snacks then seats for 7:30pm. There will then be an on-stage session with all 3 players facilitated by Mark Stevens.

After a quick intermission we are straight back with a short auction for the players charities and our club. Signed Lion's, England and Premier League shirts and other items will be up for grabs. We will take card payments if you want to bid but not carry cash! Then we have the audience led Q&A then at the end they have confirmed that there will be lots of opportunity to get something signed by them or just have a selfie.
