After Sunday's emphatic 5-0 victory over local rivals AFC Liverpool in front of a large crowd of 146 at Ruskin Drive, Town were scheduled to host Witton Albion in the First Qualifying Round.

We have today been informed by Witton Albion that they cannot field a team for the tie and Town have been awarded a walk over and advance to the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 2018.

The ties in the First Qualifying Round are scheduled to take place week commencing 21st September and we will update further when the draw has been made and we are aware of our opponents.
