In what has been a very busy period for the club the management team have been working hard signing new players to improve the squad.

Our first signing at the end of September was defender David Thompson from Premier Division side Runcorn Town.
David is an experienced player who started his senior career at Bury in 2009, before spells with Hyde, Warrington Town and Rhyl in the Welsh Premier League. His addition to the squad adds much needed experience and quality

The club are delighted to announce the signings of Dylan Makin and Derrick Amankwah.
Dylan, a talented young midfielder joins after recent spells with Marine reserves and Ashton Town. Derrick, a tough tackling midfielder joins from Cefn Druids in the Welsh Premier League.

St Helens Town are delighted to announce the signing of Thomas Douglas from Premier Division side Ashton Athletic. Tom is an exciting young attacking midfielder with an eye for a pass and will bring creativity to the Town midfield. Welcome to the club Tom.

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Elliot Hughes from Bootle FC. Following the recent managerial changes in the local Northern Premier League Teams it came to the clubs attention that Elliot may be available for transfer. The management immediately made contact with every connection we have to Elliot, including Sunday team mates, childhood friends, local scouts and obviously direct Contact with Bootle themselves. Its possible Elliot only agreed to sign so he could carry on his summer holiday in peace but either way manager Dave Platt was delighted to get this one over the line, “We've added quality and depth to the defence and midfield recently and now Elliot, combined with the return from injury of Liam Diggle gives us a real threat up top – Im excited to see him in action.”
Following a knock to the ankle it is hoped that Elliot will be fit for the trip to Golcar on the 30th October.
