This has come around after Laxdale after school rugby club had to either stop or move their Friday after school session because of problems with Laxdale school pitch. Stornoway rugby club has now stepped in and will run this club until the Easter holidays when the situation will be reviewed.

The session is on a Friday after school and will run from 3:45 until 4:45. It is open to all P5-P7 pupils, boys and girls, from ALL schools. Players are asked to bring waterproof clothing, a drink, appropriate footwear for a grass surface and a mouthguard. Players will also be given the chance to become a member of the club and will receive a free t-shirt as part of the membership.
