STORRINGTON COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Covid-19 Officer; Keith Dalmon

Guidance for football at Storrington for players and spectators.

If you show any of the signs of Covid 19,have been asked to isolate or have returned from a non-airbridged country in the last 14 days, please do not come to the ground.

Where possible all players should travel separately and when arriving at the ground go straight to the pitch and not congregate in groups and then socially distance.
Competitive training is now permitted with groups limited to a maximum of 30 people including coaches.

Players and officials should use the sanitiser provided by the club before and after training.
Ball handling should be kept to a minimum with most contact via a boot and the ball disinfected in breaks of play.

All players will bring their own water bottle and marked with their name, no club water bottles will be available.

All equipment should not be shared and disinfected at the end of training.
The club will keep a record of all attendees at training to support NHS Test and Trace.
The use of a toilet will be available under the government guidance and cleaned and sanitised regularly.

Changing rooms provide a greater risk of transmission and therefore we all need to rethink the use of these facilities. As a foundation, changing rooms should be used for changing and showering only and done so as quickly as possible. We should factor staggering the use to minimise numbers. On a match day, we must make provisions of priority access for the away team. Where able we should seek alternative spaces for team meetings and observe social distances, again, minimising numbers. For example, only the manager and starting 11. Indoor spaces need to have maximum ventilation as possible with doors and windows open. We will be only 5 maximum at any time with players using the sanitiser provided.

The social club risk assessment should be followed by players, coaches and spectators if used after a game or training.
