Recent St. Petersburg Swan recruit Patrick Bilder - a footy veteran 2007 New York Magpies' Best and Fairest - has infused the Red and White with a healthy dose of indomitable intensity since joining the club.

With his tenacity and work ethic showing both on and off the ground, Bilder - who has also played for the Baton Rouge club - has taken on an increasingly larger presence in each match of the 2017, perhaps highlighted by a scrappy performance last month vs. Nashville.

Helping anchor the St. Pete midfield, Bilder is a student of footy, and brings the same 'gametime' intensity to Thursday practices and Saturday training sessions, and surely looks to be a focus of Senior Coach Dustin Jones' plans heading into tomorrow's USAFL clash at Ft. Lauderdale.

Tomorrow's match sees the Swans visiting their cross-state brethren the Fighting Squids in an afternoon start at Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill.

And, if recent trends hold true once again, Patrick Bilder will cement his growing reputation as a key building block of the Bloods' future.
