Strathie Sharks U16s keep a clean sheet against the opposition for the third game in a row. The Sharks continued to be in really confident form against a robust Alloa/Grangemouth side which were competitive throughout. The Sharks scored five cracking tries from Tom Watson, Daniel Brodie, Christian Taylor, Cameron Guest and Mark McQueen, with Mark McQueen adding two conversations.

Man of the match Jamie Brown was in solid form at full back with Cameron Stewart having a stormer at scrum half, ably supported by the second row boiler room of Andrew Coupar and Cameron Gray. The team stuck to their core game style which produced some quality play. Their play would have resulted in further tries if the final pass had been accurate on a few occasions.

This group of players continue to play with real confidence and enjoyment with the frustration of not getting those further tries showing the standards they are setting for themselves. The only game they have lost so far this season was by one point in injury time.
