Tonight, we have made the difficult decision to close the club and all its facilities for general use from 11 pm on Thursday 19th March until further notice.
This decision was not taken lightly and at this time we do not have a date for reopening.
Strathie is a community club, and how we best support our members and community remains our focus. Working within the government guidelines and working with partners such as Angus Physiotherapy to provide Pilates classes for those who wish to attend. Angus Physiotherapy will also be holding their clinics within the physio room at the club. We are keen to ensure that mental and physical wellbeing of those in our community is maintained during this challenging period. By following the government's guidelines and additional cleaning schedules, this can be achieved safely.
In addition, we will be offering the use of the Boaby Bus to support those within the area that need assistance. Full details of this will appear on social media over the coming days.
We will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation and provide updates when appropriate.
