Pedlars

A disasterous last fifteen minutes saw the Pedlars ship five goals following seventy five minutes of domination. Swaffham took the lead in the eighth minute when Neil Goodbourn played Kieran Bruce through to neatly chip the keeper slotting into the top left hand corner of the net. The Hornets levelled in the thirty fourth minute for Skipper Callum Madigan to tip the balance the Pedlars way with an inch perfect free kick twenty five yards out, dead centre of goal. His effort screaming into the top left hand corner of goal, leaving the keeper no chance. All looked good for the Pedlars until Debenham levelled again in the seventy seventh minute, the Pedlars left stunned, their game fell apart allowing the visitors to notch another four goals in the remaining minutes. No game next Saturday due to Needham Markets progress in the FA Cup, they play again Tuesday 4 October in the League Challenge Cup, newly promoted Heacham visit Shoemakers Lane.

A narrow defeat for the Reserves away to Costessey Sports, goals from Joe Minns and George Tipple not enough in the three two defeat. Next weekend they host table topping Mutford and Wrentham.

The 'A' Team with the best result of the weekend, a four one victory in the County Primary Cup away to Clenchwarton Reserves. A hat-trick for Lewis Garner and Captain Ashley Rowland making up the score. They return to League action next Saturday welcoming Southrepps to the Lane.

A three two victory at home to Easton College on Thursday, goals from Jed Sampson, Jacob Woolmer and Harry Curson-Pope in preparation to this Thursday's visit to Aldiss Park home of the Magpies of Dereham Town. Always an entertaining fixture with both teams battling for the battle of the A47 bragging rights.
