Gt Yarmouth at home on Tuesday

A well earned three points for the Pedlars returning to form following their disappointing result at Cornard last weekend. They started far more confidently and took the lead in the ninth minute, Kieran Bruce firing low and hard from the right- hand corner of the box. His shot fumbled by the keeper and finding the net. Ten minutes later, Bruce with a better effort from the left-hand touchline, making ground towards the goal and then sliding the ball past the keeper into the right-hand corner of the net. Not such a confident start to the second half and a sharp intake of breath from the spectators when Haverhill pegged a goal back in the sixty fifth minute, but the Pedlars showed courage and conviction to hold on and claim the victory. They are back in League action Tuesday evening when the Bloaters of Great Yarmouth Town make the trip across the County to 'The Worzel's Roofing Stadium'. Next weekend the Pedlars are without a fixture. Many thanks to our friends at the George Hotel for their continued support in the form of post-match hospitality, this kind assistance is very much appreciated and the quality of the after-match food a talking point of those that visit the Lane.

The Reserves away to Thorpe Village, took the initiative to get the first goal but the home-side restored the balance to go in at half time one a-piece. Stuart Scott was on target for the Pedlars. Not such a good second half for the Pedlars conceding two further goals in the second half. Next Saturday they welcome Waveney Reserves to Shoemakers Lane. Waveney currently without a win this season, sitting one place off the bottom of the League.

A fine result away in the Pease League Cup for the 'A' Team, beating Norwich Medics Reserves four goals to nil to earn their place in the second round. Charlie Gunner with one goal, Lewis Garner with a hat-trick. Next weekend they return to League action with a home fixture against UEA Under 21's.

The Under 18's suffered a three goals to nil defeat at home to in-form Norwich Community Sports Foundation. This Thursday they welcome North Walsham Town to the Lane.
