Swaffham Town FC are delighted to announce that Club stalwart Dean Miller has re-signed for the 2020/21 season. He will assume the position of Club Captain.

On signing, Miller stated “I’m excited and motivated about the new challenge ahead. I can’t wait to get started with my fellow team mates, it’s been a long time coming with the COVID situation, but with old faces and new, it will be a fresh start for the club.”

Asked about the current climate he added “with the season finishing so abruptly, I feel we’ve got unfinished business to move the club forward.”

The club has recently commenced social distance training, but this hasn’t deterred First Team Manager Danny Tindall from making an early decision on his Club Captain for the season ahead, commenting “Dean is everything you look for in a Captain on and off the pitch. His passion, experience and ability on the pitch, along with his knowledge of the club and its values, left me with an easy decision”
