Going down 5-0

Points still elude the Pedlars 1st Team as they battle to establish their League campaign but remain rooted to the base of the Premier Division. Five goals conceded that really didn't reflect the game, two penalties given away and some dubious decisions from the officials not helping the cause. The Pedlars down to 10 men with twenty minutes to go, Luke Middleton sustaining a head injury with all of the Pedlar substitutes used, two goals conceded in the final period. Tuesday evening the Pedlars travel to March Town United, the Hares also having a troubled start to their season, just ahead of the Pedlars with three points on the board. Next weekend it is Buildbase FA Vase action, the Pedlars away to UEA on Sunday, a 3pm kick off at Aldis Park.
The Reserves unlucky away to Hempnall in the Knock Out Cup, a single goal separating the sides. Next weekend they are back to League action, Earsham visiting the MG Building Maintenance Stadium, kick off 2.30pm. Better fortune for the 'A' Team in the Ben Smith Cup, a four three victory away to Wensum Albion, goals from Rhys Gagen (2), Robbie Boulter and Ashley Rowland. Next Saturday they are away to Hornets. Midweek the Under 18's bowed out of the FA Youth Cup, the Young Pedlars taking the lead through Blake Davies in the sixtieth minute, played through the back four and striking first time into the bottom right hand corner. Whitton United kept their cool and battled to equalise and then took the lead with ten minutes remaining. The Pedlars battled to the end but could not get the equaliser to take the match into penalties. This Thursday they take on Dereham at Aldis Park, the first of this weeks visits.
