8-1 loss

Another tricky outing for the Pedlars on Saturday. Third place in the Division Mildenhall Town visiting the MG Building Maintenance Stadium. The visitors taking advantage of the weather conditions, winning the toss and playing towards the main stand, the wind and rain giving them an advantage, 'Storm Arwen' providing the twelfth man. Two early goals in the fourth and sixth minute putting the Pedlars on the back foot, still coming to terms with conditions. Further concerns in the thirty sixth minute, Matthew Blackford collapsing on the pitch, requiring medical attention. Three further goals before the break putting the game to bed before half time. Early hope in the second half, Brad Yates with a driving run down the left wing, his cross dropping into the far top corner of the goal, the only support given by Arwen to the Pedlars. Conditions worsened as the game progressed, the ground wet and heavy, the wind un-relentless, sapping energy in the freezing conditions. The 'Hall' bagging three more in the closing ten minutes. Next weekend the Pedlars turn to the Norfolk County Senior Cup, a trip to Clipbush Park for this all Thurlow Nunn Premier Division clash. The Pedlars hoping to avenge their close defeat to the Ghosts in earlier League action.
A great three points claimed away to Buxton for the Reserves this weekend. Nathan Lawes finding the net for the one nil victory. Next weekend they are at home to Beccles Caxton who sit in tenth place, the Pedlars holding up the League in fourteenth.
The 'A' Team hosted Horning FC on the Myers playing field, going down six two. Robbie Boulter and Ben Paige on the scoresheet for the Pedlars. Next weekend they are in Cup action, at home to UEA 'A' in the third round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup.
No game last week for the Under 18's, their match against Fakenham postponed to allow Fakenham players be released for an alternative Cup fixture. This Thursday they welcome play top of the North Division, Mulbarton Wanderers to Shoemakers Lane.
At he other end of the scale, the Veterans hosted top of the table Rocklands last Sunday, James Stothard netting for the Older Pedlars in their four one defeat. Their next outing is Sunday 12th of December when second place Snettisham visit the lane
