Pedlars exit the Buildbase FA Vase

Saturday the Pedlars travelled to Mildenhall Town for the First Round Qualifying in the Buildbase FA Vase hoping to repeat their success of last season where they reached the last 64 in the country. Unfortunately is was not to be, early season injuries and player availability providing concern for Swaffham but none the less both sides wanting to play football and providing great entertainment for the neutral. Mildenhall eventually taking the initiative in the second half going one up in the seventieth minute and then getting a second nine minutes later. Too little too late for Swaffham, hardly putting the Mildenhall goal under pressure. They can now concentrate their efforts in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division. Next Saturday they are away to Long Melford.
A great start to the Under 18's League campaign mid-week, a six two victory over local rivals Fakenham Town. A brace a piece for Jak Uppington and Thomas Wagg, Elliot Prentice and Connor Greaves with the other contributions. Monday evening they are away to Cambridge City in the FA Youth Cup.
The Reserves are back in action next Saturday away to Long Stratton Reserves.
