Tuesday night saw the "Pedlars" come away with a hard fought win at March, maintaining there excellent start to the season. The pitch conditions not helping the home team, Hares midfielder David Jackson with a serious ankle injury, then a bouncing ball completely deceived the home keeper resulting in his air shot leaving Alex Vincent with the easiest of chances running the ball into an empty net. The Hares then made there own luck by equalising ten minutes into the second half, the Pedlars then suffered there own misfortune with ex March keeper Lee Brooks dislocating his finger in a vain attempt to prevent the ball entering the net, and having to go off to A&E. Joe Jackson replaced Brooks in goal, before Brooks had left the stadium Joe Woods had restored the visitors lead by heading a Vincent corner into the net, a lead that the " Pedlars" battled to keep until the final whistle.
The " Pedlars" wish "DJ" all the very best for a full and speedy recovery.
