​​Swans had a pre-season friendly against Dorset Dockers, and after the first 25 minutes when Swans went up by two tries to one, scored by Kirk Jones and newcomer Veramu to one by Dockers, once Swans got the ball to their wingers, Swans dominated the game,
Scrum half Chris Tomes intercepted a move by Dockers to put Swans up by 19pts – 7pts, and full back Will Slack came into the line for a converted try to make it 26pts – 7pts. Swans other newcomer winger Matty Matikbau was on hand to make the score 33pts – 7pts at half time.
​Dockers suffered some injuries and the secnd half started with uncontested scrums. Verumu was soon on the scoreboard after 46 minutes, and Will Slack was in the line again to score his second try(45pts -7pts). Veremu went down the wing to score his hat trick of tries, converted by Steve Woolley making 6 in all as Swans went 52pts – 7pts.In the last minute second row Dan Collins forced his way over the line to make the final score 57pts – 7pts.
