​​For Swans last game of the season they travelled to Bridport looking to score 41 pts for a 1000pts for the season.
​​It was a good start for Swans as after only three minutes they were on the scoreboard as centre Rory Ferguson crossed for a try close to the posts. Steve Woolley added the extras. Two minutes later the ball was passed to winger Harry Spyers who ran in a try in the corner.(0pt – 12pts). From there on a few penalties to Bridport and some poor finishing by Swans enabled the home side to keep the score down until the the 30th minute when at last, winger Harry Spyers ran round to score under the posts. Woolley converted(0pts – 19pts). A scrum close to the Bridport line had captain and prop forward Nick Audley powering over the line three minutes later to bring the score to 24pts and from the restart second row Dan Collins collected the ball and ran through to score under the posts(0pts – 31pts).Finally in the last minute of the half, Swans flank forward Ben Dennett, worked his way over the try line in the corner to make the half time score Bridport 0pts Swans 36pts. ​​Swans started the second half as the first with Steve Woolley coming into the line to score a try half way out, which he converted himself after 42 minutes, and four minutes later Rory Ferguson scored his second try to put Swans(0pts – 48pts) ahead. Swans no.8 Kirk Jones was next on the scoresheet as he crossed the line close to the posts after 53 minutes. Woolley converted(0pts – 55pts). Rory Ferguson completed his hat trick of tries on the hour mark, Woolley added the extras(0pts – 62pts). For the next ten minutes or so Bridport had a series of penalties inside the Swans 22, and it was good to see Swans’ defence had to work hard to escape without conceding a try. However once the play was was cleared, with 5 minutes to go Kirk Jones added his second try close to the posts. Woolley converted. Final Score Bridport 0pts Swanage & Wareham 69pts.
