With 4 regular first team regulars missing Sway knew that this was going to be a tough fixture, and so it proved. Infinity squandered several good goal scoring oportunities and had the majority of possession but Sway defended stoutly with Ansell and Petty outstanding in central defence and Field making several superb saves. Sway always looked dangerous on the break and were denied a penalty when the referee inexplicably waved play on after Brockhart was brought down in the box.
Rolls were reversed in the second half when Sway pressed the home side in the opening 25 minutes but it was the home side who squandered two great opportunities and had a very good shout for a penalty turned down. It looked like both sides would have to settle for a point up until the final minute when Booker beat several players on the edge of the box before un leashing a thunderous drive feom 20 yards which squeezed through the keepers fingers into the net.
