It wasnt the best game of football ever seen but once again, the reserves dug deep and stayed honest to their own game ethic to claw out a 1-0 victory.
Jason Harvey was in fine form in the Bloods goal and was called upon to spring his ageing body into play to help keep Stow at bay. Joe Cunning and Jack Garrett were once again in fine form at the back and the Wing Back offerings from Tom Pluck and Charlie Dicker were relentless throughout the entire game.
The star of the show in this game though was the young talented Sac Hassan. He was a constant pain to the Stowmarket defence with his tricky ball skills and created some excellent goal scoring opportunities for himself and team mates. Alfie Anderson also came on in the second half for his second Reserves appearance of the season and did his chances of additional game time no harm at all.
Sam Harding came out of "Retirement" to play and what a great contribution he made to the team. He took the Captains armband for the evening and played an intelligent and effective role from start to finish.
The Reserves are back in action at Home this Saturday when they entertain Wivenhoe for a 3pm kick off. - See you there
