Although Aveley were well organised, it was a little surprising that they were reliant on playing the log ball almost every time to the rapid right winger who was very effective.
In contrast, Walden started well with CRANE organising things and helping the young players play the right way. Debutant KAI SMITH (aged 16) will be very satisfied with his performance and will be expecting another call up after his display. Alongside him, DAN WEEKS was having one of his better games and ran things well at the back.
It was a case of good finishing and poor defending for 4 of the 5 goals conceded.
The lads will continue to battle and improve.
