Tadley RFC Volunteer Workforce

Dear Club Member,

Welcome back! It was great to see so many of you at the club this weekend to kick off season 2018-19 in beautiful sunshine.

Some of you gave up your time to come and meet our England Rugby Local Rugby Delivery Team; Nicola McCombe, Community Rugby Coach and Rhys Davies, Rugby Development Officer, who gave a volunteer workshop in the clubhouse. For those of you that gave them your time – Thank You!! Further more, you gave some invaluable feedback on volunteering, which I have attached and to top it off some of you offered to join our volunteer workforce to help Tadley RFC make rugby happen.

If you are able to help the club out in any way whatsoever – ad hoc, regular hours, know of a useful contact please please please let me know!

We are a club run entirely on a volunteer basis, a small group of people which we desperately need to grow as many hands make light work. We are in need of help in the following areas;

• Social/Fundraising Committee
• Kitchen Volunteers
• Bar Volunteers
• School Liaison Officer
• Team Managers and First Aiders
• Press Officer
• Age Group Coaches and Club Coach Coordinator
• Fixtures Secretary

If you are able to help out in any of these areas please drop Tracey (Club Volunteer Coordinator) a line.

Alternatively, if you have any useful contacts within schools, scouts, guides, community groups, the media where we can help raise the profile of the club through articles, school assemblies, leaflet drops and posters advertising what we do please share them also.

The club and RFU recognise how valuable our volunteers are and have a range of reward and recognition schemes, including stash, club lunches, Mitsubishi rewards and social events.

Tracey looks forward to hearing from you!!

Many thanks,
