Raiders bring in quality from Shrewsbury

Olly Pope has signed up for the 2023 season. Olly is currently playing rugby union for Shrewsbury and is relatively new to league. He signed for the Raiders last year and made his debut in the pre season win at RAF Cosford but had to stop playing due to work commitments. Coach Cav said “I spoke to Olly recently and his work commitments mean he can now play weekends and he’s looking forward to the coming season. I saw him play union recently in Shrewsbury’s win over Telford Hornets, he played on the wing and is looking fit and strong. A good signing for us.”
