New Club Chairman Announced

Teversal FC are pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Nick James to the post of Chairman of the of Directors,

replacing Peter Cockerill who stepped down from the post after 8 years, Pete remains as a very valued Director.

Since, June Vice-Chairman Chris Slack took up the role on an Acting basis, but with immediate effect he passes the reigns to Nick as he returns to his Vice-Chair and Finance Director duties.

Nick who is a local business man as joint owner of PB Prestige Builds has been at the club for over three years and became a Director focusing on organising the clubs successful Centenary events that concluded with last months excellent Family Fun Day & Fireworks display. Additionally he is seen as an hands on Director, leading or assisting on development and maintenance projects at the club.

The new Chairman is big believer of the club values and will bring the leadership demonstrated by his predecessor to continue the growth and development through out the whole club. On his appointment, Nick stated “I am truly honoured and genuinely excited to take on the role of Chairman at Teversal Football Club. My predecessor Peter Cockerill has done an incredible job at the club, so it will be a tough role to fill. I feel I am well connected to the club due to living local, my son plays for the club and my wife is a Club Welfare Officer for the club. I know how important Teversal Football Club is to the community, an area which I am passionate about. The club is built on wonderful volunteers and professional team work, a reason why it has been going for 100+ years. My visions for the future are to keep developing the club in all areas and work more closely with the business community to help keep the club financially sustainable. We are preparing for more growth both on and off the pitch with our plans for growing all formats of football such as our girls Wildcats Academy".

All at the club would like to wish Nick all the support and best wishes in moving the club to the next level.
