At Home Against Espial Community FC

The game begins and for the first 10 minutes it’s a tit for tat affair as the ball moves up and down the pitch. Espial Community try to step up the game as they press for the first goal. Tevie’s back four, Ben T, Blake G, James W & Josh B aren’t having it though as they take on a hopeful Espial strike force. Tevie’s defence forces the ball back up the pitch to find midfield’s Bradley G. Bradley G sends the ball out to Zakarie S. Zakarie S forces a corner for the first set piece of the game. Ben T steps up to take the corner and sends in a sweet curve ball that Tyler N heads straight in the net! Great set piece lads. Tevie 1 Espial 0. Espial try their luck down at the Tevie end but Josh B pulls off a super goal line clearance to keep our boys in front. The Tevie boys are at it again as a rush on goal is started by James N out right. James N spots Bradley G on a run and passes him the ball. Bradley G sends in an excellent through ball to Tyler N and we all know where he’s off don’t we! Tyler N collects the ball and bang, it’s in. Tevie 2 Espial 0, what a great team goal that was! Great work from Mckai W and brilliant goal keeping from Josh E bring the first half to a close at Tevie 2 Espial 0.

The second half starts as Espial catch a break and send a bouncing bomb just out of the reach of our Josh E. Tevie 2 Espial 1. The goal sparks something in our lads as they step up their game tenfold! Zakarie S blasts down the wing and sends Tyler N a stinger; Tyler N flicks the ball onto James N which causes a scramble at the goal mouth. James N regains the ball and sends it bottom right for another well worked goal...lovely! Tevie 3 Espial 1. Espial struggle to get the ball from Keane B but he stands strong and finds Alex S tearing down the centre of the pitch. Alex S smashes the ball towards Espials goal only for it to go just wide - super run of play again! Zakarie S and Tyler N are off again as they make goal number 4! Tevie 4 Espial 1. Josh B picks up the ball and sends it to Ben T, Ben T lobs it to Tyler N, Tyler N flicks it over to James N. James N shoots but it’s saved and sent back into play. Tyler N wastes no time in slotting the loose ball past the keeper…. nice. Tevie 5 Espial 1. Blake G wins the ball in the air and with super control sends it to James N. James N turns the defender and then calmly beats the goalie with a well-placed shot. Tevie 6 Espial 1.

Well lads what can I say, it was an absolute pleasure watching today as you all played fantastic and as a team. Give yourselves a big pat on the back!
