At Home Against Glapwell Gladiators

Our lads appear out of sorts as they seem to struggle with the ball as the play moves around the pitch. Out of nowhere Ben T manages to grab a loose ball and puts it towards Blake G. Blake G shows his appreciation by putting it in the net. Tevie 1 Glapwell 0. Glapwell manage to get through but Josh B stops the advance and sends the ball into midfield. Glapwell press forward and win a corner and force a goal. Tevie 1 Glapwell 1. Tevie struggle again to find form and concede two more goals. Tevie 1 Glapwell 3. Zakarie S wins the ball in midfield and sends James N on a run. Just as James N leathers the ball he is brought down in the penalty box. Ben T steps up to take. The net bulges as the ball sails past the keeper for a lovely peno. Tevie 2 Glapwell 3. There’s a ball loose in midfield which Tyler N picks up as he threads his way through the defence, can they stop him? No they can’t... he bags another goal... great run. Tevie 3 Glapwell 3. Glapwell aren’t happy and make Tevie pay, Tevie 3 Glapwell 4. Glapwell are on the attack again but Josh E makes a super save and brings the first half to an end Tevie 3 Glapwell 4.

The second half starts and it looks like our lads have woke up and want to play football! Zakarie S is in battle mode as he wins the ball and spots Tyler N harassing Glapwell’s defenders. Zakarie S sends Tyler N a lovely through ball. Tyler N collects the ball and deposits it in the net to bring Tevie level. Tevie 4 Glapwell 4. Our boys are on fire as Bradly G, Josh B, Ben C and Mckai W force back Glapwell, who can find no way through Tevie’s back line. James N zips down the right wing and sends in a ball. Blake G spots the ball and claims his second goal with a super strike. Tevie 5 Glapwell 4. A great stop from James W frees up the ball for James N to blast it on to Tyler N. Tyler N bags his hat-trick. Tevie 6 Glapwell 4. Alex S blasts down the left wing to send the ball to Tyler N. Tyler N sends in a super ball and finds the net. Tevie 7 Glapwell 4. Tyreece J stands strong to deny Glapwell a shot on goal. There’s great play between Ben T, Tyler N and Blake G as they make their way up the pitch. Tyler N threads a ball trough to James N. James N picks up the ball and blasts through Glapwell’s defence to claim his goal. Tevie 8 Glapwell 4. Glapwell find their feet and bag the last goal of the match Tevie 8 Glapwell 5.
