At Home Against Shirebrook Rangers

From the off our boys smash into Shirebrook’s back line as Tevie’s first strike is just wide of the mark. It’s not long before the Tevie crew strike for goal again as Zakarie S play’s a lovely ball onto the Tevie goal machine! Tyler N gathers the ball and skips through the oppositions defence to start the ball rolling. Tevie 1 Shirebrook 0. Tevie are dominating play as Tyler N looks up to see Zakarie S unmarked, and sends in an excellent cross. Zakarie S sees the ball coming...can this be the long awaited goal? YES...Zakarie S smashes the ball home for a great footballing goal! As we look across we see Mr Andy S with tears in his eyes. Is it for the goal...NO... it’s for the tenner he’s just lost! Tevie 2 Shirebrook 0. Shirebrook see an opening and run for the Tevie net. Josh E spots the run and bullies the ball away for a great piece of goal keeping. Shirebrook are under pressure and cause the keeper to miss kick the ball, which lands nicely for Tyler N, and we all know where that’s going.. yep straight in! Tevie 3 Shirebrook 0. Some great work from Blake G and Keane B win Tevie a free kick and Ben T steps up to take. Ben T puts his laces through the ball with a mint strike, sending the ball straight for goal. The ball clatters into the crossbar and presents itself to Tyler N who wastes no time and heads it straight by the keeper... brilliant! Tevie 4 Shirebrook 0. Super defending from Tyreece J, Bradley G & Ben C force the ball out left to Josh B. Josh B picks up the ball and goes on a run down the left wing. Josh B spots James N running towards Shirebrooks goal and threads him a beauty. James N taps the ball past the defenders as they try to stop him, but to no avail, as he slots the ball home, great run of play. The first half ends Tevie 5 Shirebrook 0.

Shirebrook Come out fighting and manage to get an early goal. Tevie 5 Shirebrook1. It’s not long before our lads hit back as Alex S hits the post with a great shot on goal. The ball comes off the post nicely for Zakarie S to blast in his second (worth another £10 at least!). Tevie 6 Shirebrook 1. Shirebrook battle on and catch a lucky break and bag their second. Tevie 6 Shirebrook 2. Great defending from Mckai W and James W force the ball out to Tyler N who finds an unmarked Ben T. Ben T casually launches the ball into the top left hand corner of the net, super cool goal! Tevie 7 Shirebrook 2. Our lads battle on and prevent Shirebrook from getting back into the game with the same fantastic team play they had shown throughout the first half. They bring the game to a close.
