Newark Town Ladies 3 - 4 Teversal FC Ladies

Another trip to sunny Newark, and a change of venue for the match. Expecting to visit the 3G at the YMCA Complex again but instead we're at the home of Collingham FC.
The weather is a bit nippy, and expected to get colder as the day wears on, and the low sun doesn't do much for the spectators over by the changing rooms, but we'll venture on.
The Girls are looking to gain revenge for Newark knocking them out of the League Cup last weekend, whatever happens you can expect a good battle on the field.
Newark are in their tradition kit (navy shorts, sky blue shirts and socks), Teversal are in their standard home kit of red shirts and black shorts and socks.

2.00 : The team line up around the centre circle to observe a minutes silence.
2.01 : Teversal get the game underway, defending the Co-op End.
2.03 : Newark hit the crossbar with a shot, the ball bounces down and it's cleared.
2.09 : Teversal come close as a Abbey-Jay Roberts looping header hits the top of the crossbar, it get cleared and the danger is passed.
2.11 : Teversal get a free kick from 25 yards out, Kate Pawlitta takes it and the ball sails towards the top corner, but it hits the upright and luckily falls into the back of the net. 1-0 Teversal.
2.19 : A free kick from the same position as before is touched wide by the keeper and the follow up hits the foot of the post and goes wide.
2.29 : Kate Pawlitta sends another long range free kick just over the crossbar.
2.37 : The ball bounces kindly for Newark on a rare attack and the ball is slotted past Stacey Padley in the Teversal goal to level the scores. 1-1.
2.40 : A penalty is awarded to Newark, even the Newark management have no idea why it's been given. The ball is fired to the keeper's right to give the home side the lead. 2-1 to Newark.
2.41 : Holly Cox is shown a yellow card for a foul.
2.44 : Abbey-Jay Roberts comes close with a looping effort the the keeper manages to get clear.

2.57 : Newark get the second half started. No changes for Teversal at the break.
3.00 : Abbey-Jay Roberts sends a shot just wide of the post following a Kate Pawlitta cross.
3.09 : Tevie Sub : 14 on for 9. Ashlee Shenton replaces Abbey-Jay Roberts.
3.10 : Newark break through and unleash a shot that crashes against the crossbar again!
3.18 : A bout of pressure from Newark pays dividends as they increase their lead. A shot under the Tevie keeper finds the back of the net. Newark lead 3-1.
3.23 : Goal! Some excellent work down the right by Kate Pawlitta ends with an angled shot into the back of the net. It's 3-2.
3.30 : The Tevie Girls are level. Tiffany Musgrove squares the ball to Ashlee Shenton, on as sub for her debut, and strokes the ball past the keeper. 3-3.
3.40 : Pressure from Newark ends with a great save from Stacey Padley in the Tevie goal.
3.41 : An excellent save at the other end by the Newark keeper denies Libby Richardson.
3.44 : Kate Pawlitta with another long range free kick makes it 4-3 with seconds to go! Teversal lead 4-3.

It's seven wins out of seven for the Ladies, and with Bingham Town Ladies losing 2-0 on the road to Sports Gateway, the team re-take pole position on the League table.
