7.05pm : Kick off in the scenic valley that is the home of Cromford & Wirksworth Town, it is called "The Graveyard". Tucked away at the bottom of a sports ground, the pitch has a railway line and the Cromford Canal along one touchline, cricket pitch on the other, and behind the goals you have a rugby pitch at one end and a field full of sheep at the other, plus the rolling hills of the area surround this scene making for a very picturesque setting.
6 : Tevie take the lead, a corner is flicked home. 1-0. Gavin Nelson credited with the goal.
7 : Cromford level it up almost straight away with a low shot into the bottom corner. 1-1.
20 : It's end to end stuff, but eventually Teversal re-take the lead through Jak Lightly. 2-1 up.
32 : A low angled shot across the face of the goal hits the foot of the post and goes in, levelling it back up again. It's 2-2.
41 : Just before the break the home side lead for the first time tonight as number nine (Scott) completes his hat trick. A lovely goal, collecting a through ball andgoing around the keeper and then stroked home. Cromford lead it 3-2.
Half time : Cromford & Wirksworth Town 3-2 Teversal FC Res.
7.57pm : The second half gets underway.
56 : It's all level again, a cross from out wide is (unfortunately) headed home by a home defender, under pressure from Lee Naughton - it's an own goal, but it counts for Tevie. 3-3.
79 : A curling shot toward the far post finds its target and the home side lead 4-3 with eleven minutes to go.
Full time : Cromford & Wirksworth Town 4-3 Teversal FC Res.
An excellent game of football played in the right spirit with the referee having very little to do.
