Lack of striking options there for all to see.

Teversals poor form continued today with a poor 1st half showing and were fortunate to be only 1 behind at the break as they struggled to create any meaningful chances.

Matthew Langley returned after injury but due to being at work had to be content with a place on the bench and we had Ryan Brooks coming in to the goalkeeping berth and also Tom Bates was once again available.
Radford were much changed from the side we beat 6-0 back in August with only 5 of the 14 man squad playing in the 1st fixture.
Radford were very much on the front foot straight from the off and were in front as early as the 4th minute a break down the left finished with a good save from Ryan Brooks in goal but Bruno Alfonso was 1st to react to slip home the rebound and Teversal couldn`t have made a worse start.

After repelling a wave of Radford attacks Jake levers did have a half chance in the 7th minute but dragged his effort wide.
On 17 minutes a good delivery from a Radford free kick found Kevin Davis in a good position but Ryan Brooks was on hand to make a fine save .
Within a minute from a corner Radford almost increased the lead amongst a bit of confusion but Teversal managed to clear the ball out right on the line.
20 minutes on the clock and a little bit of controversy as Raphael Williams ran clear and was flagged off side, the referee chose to over rule what looked a correct decision to allow Williams to score a 2nd for Radford.

After a bit more pressure from Radford who were full of running Teversal found themselves back in the game, out of nothing Jake Levers managed to slip a ball down the middle to Toby Birch who turned the defender and found himself in on goal, he side stepped a despairing dive from Sam Spencer who was quickly out to him before calmly finding the back of the net, but injuring himself in the process. So Jamie Walters came on to replace him and Teversal had a lifeline.
Teversal were struggling to get any pattern to their play and were wasteful with the ball on numerous occasions . Radford continued to press and wasted a good chance to make it 3 on 40 minutes as Joshua Muschett went clean through and Ryan Brooks was equal to the effort when he really should have been celebrating another goal, so Tevie got in at Half time 2-1 down and Radford would have been disappointed not to have been in a more comfortable position.

Half time came with Jake levers making way for Matthew Langley in a bit of a reshuffle with Tom Bates moving out to the left.
Teversal came out with a bit more fire in their bellies and Radford didn`t have the same dominance they had in the 1st half but could Teversal somehow trouble Radford at the back was the question?

Teversal did retain the ball much better and did push Radford back but the killer ball couldn`t be found , Craig Newton did release Oscar Govan-Greenacre in the 54th minute but the ball was running away from Oscar who did well to get a toe on it but Sam Spencer had read the danger and saved his effort with his feet right on the edge of the box.
Radford were still dangerous on the counter as they had pace in abundance and a last ditch tackle from Pavinder Singh on Raphael Williams kept Teversals hopes of a point alive, the striker wanting a penalty as he kicked Singh's foot as Pav won the ball.

On 66 minutes Teversal made their final change with Ashley Wilson replacing Tom Bates, John Lee dropped to left back and pushed Joe Toon up to the left wing as they tried in vain to conjure an opening to snatch an equaliser.
With 5 minutes left Ryan Brooks made a challenge that saw Raphael Williams go down appealing for a penalty and then he got up ranting at the Teversal stopper and pushed him the referee intervened and strangely booked both players when the Teversal player did nothing.
Radford eventually caught Teversal on the break and substitute Ola Ajewole raced clear down the right hand side before leaving Pavinder Singh on his back side with a clever turn and slipping home the killer goal as we entered stoppage time.

Teversal now face a tricky home tie next week against Dunkirk and need to somehow get their season back on track after an alarming slide in overall performances and to a degree desire.Birch is an injury doubt after scoring 2 in 2 Joe Toon is unavailable so again we will be shuffling the pack .
