The most surprising result of the day came in the Glenwood Printing Reserves Supreme Division, runaway league leaders Staveley Miners Welfare, where surprisingly held to a 3-3 draw at the Town Ground, by Heanor Town Reserves.
The home team have been on the end of some heavy defeats in recent weeks and again a comprehensive defeat was expected, but the home team may well have recorded a shock victory. Richard Groves notched all the Heanor goals. Sam Finlaw, Shaun Tuton and Liam Kay where the Staveley goal scorers.
Borrowash Victoria Reserves moved above Dunkirk Reserves into second place after Vics had recorded a 2-1 win over Dunkirk. Scott Staniland and Cullam Thompson the Vics marksmen. Jeremy Milenstead replied for Dunkirk.
A shock home defeat for fourth placed Belper Town Reserves; they crashed to a 4-1 defeat, at home, against Graham St Prims Reserves. Prims win takes the Derby based team up to sixth place. Ryan Calbourne (2), Mark Raisin and Sam Collins the Prims scorers. Cameron Martin scored the Belper goal.
Fifth placed Dinnington Town Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw at Grange Park by Long Eaton United Reserves. Jason Slew for Dinnington. Shay Wiggins for Long Eaton United.
A good win for South Normanton Athletic Reserves at Teversal Reserves. Daniel Henshaw, Dean Owen and Adam Nicholls scored the goals that gave the visitors a 3-0 win.
Another defeat for bottom of the table Clipstone Welfare Reserves, Holbrook Sports Reserves winning 2-1 at the Lido Ground. Mathew Heathcote and Dominic Hayes scored the Holbrook goals. Nathan Melbourne the Clipstone scorer.
