Sadly, Thackley's Academy side were beaten 0-1 at the Dennyfield by Barton Town Old Boys in the NUA League up (the Pat Rice Trophy)
In a close match Thackley were edged out by a slightly stronger Barton side who scored the only goal of the tie.
