Hampshire FA / PHYL are promoting a "Their Game" initiative this weekend. The aim is primarily to remind all adults (coaches, spectators, refs, etc.) that this is youth football, it is "their game" not ours, and to let them get on and play.
The information from the pack is included as a link below and the photo has a reminder of who our Club Safeguarding Officers are.
A quick summary of what is asked for from spectators. . .
All teams playing in the PHYL need a parent volunteer as respect steward, and they will need to wear the respect high viz vest provided.
.
The PHYL and Hampshire FA have said they intend to have observers at as many games as possible this weekend. They may approach you and talk to you and may ask if you are aware who the Club Safeguarding and Welfare Officers are at Tornadoes - Jon Harrison, Lucy Moore and Steve Corcoran.
So as usual, just be positive with lots of applause, talk and chat amongst yourselves as much as you like, but let the players play without intervention / instructions from the sidelines. Thanks !
P.S. whilst this is an initiative from Hampshire FA and the PHYL, it applies to all parents, players and coaches of teams regardless of leagues you are playing in.
