Thatcham Tornadoes BOBiCats played their first ever BOBi tournament in Oxford this weekend and Manager, David Leno, was totally and utterly amazed by their performances. Three wins, three draws and a clean sheet was a dream start for the team.
For some in the team, it was the first time they had ever played a proper, organised game of football. Being on the pitch, wearing the amber and black, completely changed their focus and they were absolutely brilliant - we couldn’t have asked for more.
The tournament invites BOBiCats teams from within the Berks & Bucks and Oxfordshire FAs and you play against every other team that has entered. As well as Tornadoes, this month, teams took part from MK Dons, Marlow Youth, Marlow Youth White, Oxford City, St. Edmunds FC (Abingdon) and Risborough Rangers.
A massive thank you to all the parents and sponsor, First Alliance Properties, for their unwaivering support of this squad. Well done, David and very well played boys! Guess the squad are looking forward to the next BOBi tournament!!
