Thatcham Tornadoes U11 Girls entered two teams into the BCGFL Futsal tournament this weekend giving many of the girls their first ever experience of Futsal. It's fast and encourages quick decision making and touches of the ball but the girls rose to the occasion.

In the morning session, our U11 Girls team put in some great performances but were narrowly beaten by the eventually winners in the quarter finals. Meanwhile, the afternoon session saw the other U11 Girls team reach the finals the hard way - battling through two penalty shoot-outs! Parents and coach left with no nails by the final!! Girls all very chuffed with their runners up medals and Kate and supporters so proud of the Girls in both teams today for putting in some fabulous performances throughout the day.

Really well played though to both teams and a massive thank you to the BCGFL for organising another fabulous Futsal event for all the Girls age groups.
