The reception was excellent and hence a ladies side was formed. After its formation the club immediately joined the Southern Region Women's Football League. The team also played in the Berks and Bucks Cup, the League Cup, and the Women' s F.A Cup. In 2005 the team gained promotion to the Premier Division of the Southern Region League.

The club has gone from strength to strength and now has girls team at under 8, under 10, under 12, under 14, & under 16 age groups. These teams all play competitive matches in the South Chiltern Minor League on Saturday mornings. The club also run regular all-girl soccer schools at Thatcham Town Football Club.
