With a great first pre-season performance under their belts against Worksop this weekend, Thorne travel to the east coast to play Lincolnshire side Cleethorpes in what is set to be a great day out for all involved. Plying their trade in L9 league Midlands 4 East (North), Cleethorpes were convincing winners of Midlands 5 East (North), gaining promotion to their current league. With a near perfect record last year (P| 16 W| 15 D| 1 L| 0), the sea-siders will be entering the game high on confidence. With player's from both the 1st and the 2nd XV travelling, and those stepping up this weekend making a headache for JP when it comes to selection, this weekend will be another great opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff in another 2pm kick-off.
