Thornes, not letting reduced numbers affect their play, started with determination when George Adams scored in the first 2 minutes of play. He then continued to score 5 more with the support of Thomas Waldie, who also scored two impressive goals and Coben Wilson who worked tirelessly in midfield, receiving the Man of the Match for his efforts. Oliver Corbett had a strong outing in goal saving some good shots with the help from defenders Harry Charles and Harrison Fothergill, who again stepped up to be solid in defence only letting in one goal late in the second half. The final game of the season ended with a score of 8 – 1 in favour of Thornes but with good play and sportsmanship from Hiendley.

The second game was a short one with no subs and everyone changing position. Harry supported by Oliver and Harrison up front. First half was close with Harry being the most dangerous with Oliver doing some good running. Thomas and Coben keeping things tidy at the back. Second half Hiendley scored first but Thornes replied with a good goal from Harry a minute later.
