Both sides are new to Divison 3 North after Thornton were relegated after finishing 4th from bottom of Division 2 and Upper Eden 2s were promoted as runners up behinds Kirkby Lonsdale 2s in Division 4 North.

The team will be travelling the distance by coach, what better way to start a season!? A decent outfit will be required to get off to a winning start.
