Present: Rae Shaw (Chair), Steven Pick (Secretary), Ray Smithson, Mark Sampson, Mark Priestley,
Steve Weightman, Stuart Basford, Steve Pepper.
Missing/Apologises: Jordan Thelen, John Richardson, Paul Burns, Peter Benson, Kieran Clark,
Nick Proverbs.

Matters Arising:
Stuart Basford sent letter to GeoDyne – awaiting reply.
Rae Shaw sent letter to Lyn Sykes (Notts County Council) – awaiting reply.
Paul Burns has booked Winter Nets at Becket School.

Groundwork:
Steve Weightman has ordered loam – 80 bags @ £4.60 per bag = £368.00 – delivery date to be set.

Pavilion Matters:
Mark Priestley to speak to Keith Towers with regards to emptying the bins.
Sign to be placed in the pavilion near alarm REMINDING PEOPLE TO SWITCH ALARM ON/OFF.

Playing Matters:
2nd XI season has finished and they have been relegated.

The Club needs to recruit a minimum of SIX NEW players for next season. Steve Weightman is going to speak to some East Leake players with a view to obtaining their services for next season.

Fixtures:
Medstead CC would like another fixture when they tour this area again in two years time.

Treasurers Report & Funding:

As of 19.8.2012 the club is in profit by £209.34 – this is mainly due to donations from Linda Gant and family.

The money for James McCrery Three Peaks Challenge is still to be sorted. Any outstanding monies to be past to Mark Sampson or Stuart Basford.

The Football Pontoon has not been started yet.

Members of the Committee have been asked to push The Race Night.

Letters to be organised by Mark Sampson for local companies for possible social evenings to try and obtain more funding.

Clubmark:
Mark Sampson has been informed that the period to obtain Clubmark has now been extended to 3 years. The Club’s own Clubmark is still an ongoing process.

Child Protection:
Kieran Clark away on Olympic duty – nothing to report.

Youth and Kwik Cricket:
The Presentation Evening is this Friday 7th September – arrive 6pm for 6.30pm start. Burgers/Hot Dogs to be collected from Steve Knight Butchers. Salads, rice etc have been organised. Mark Priestley is collecting the trophies during the week. A raffle is to be organised for the event. Steve Weightman is asking Martin (who is at Trent Bridge this week bowling for England in the nets) to see if he can get a b at signed by any players from England & South Africa.

AOB:
Dates to be organised for AGM and Presentation Evening. According to the Club Constitution the AGM needs to be organised before the end of November.

Paul – Please organise food bags for Race Night. Food teams need to be at Gotham Memorial Hall between 1pm/1.30pm – cater for approx 100 people.

Mark S – Steve Pick to send out block email to everyone on database reminding them of the Race Night.

Ray – Pitchero is advertising kit sale on website. The Club will receive 5% of any kit sold.

Stuart – Nothing to report.

Mark P – Nothing to report.

Steve Pepper – Nothing to report.

Steve W – Nothing to report.

Steve P – Will collect all scorebooks at the end of season to update all databases and websites. Also to help produce end of season stats.
