A general meeting was held in the village hall on October 26st in the presence of 22 members. The meeting opened with the reading by the Secretary of the last general meeting.

Profits for the club were unable to be shown as the club were still in debt. Income was shown around the room, also expenses by the T. At this stage the Treasurer then read his accounts.reasurer as none are taken by the Secretary. The Treasurer was then asked to read the details of the past season.

The averages were then read, Mr R Pick headed the batting and bowling. Catching was won by Mr N Shaw.

Arrangements were made to run Whist Drives during the winter, the members split into 2 groups to run these in turn. It was decided at the meeting after some discussion to purchase ties with the clubs crest on, this was left for Mr A Butler to look after.

The Secretary stated that as Secretary of the club for the last 46 years that over 1000 runs scored by Mr R Pick in one season was a record for the club as far as he had known. Ground arrangements for the coming season were then made by the members.. Mr D Church and Mr N Shaw were left to make the arrangements for the Annual Cricket dinner.

A vote of thanks was passed for Mr G Seymour attending the meeting and taking such a great interest. and also Mrs L Pick for doing the scoring.
