18 year old goalkeeper Joe Osaghae has joined come between the sticks. The Imposing stopper played 19 times last season for the Under 18s and has made the step up to the Under 23s. He has played twice already for the Dockers, with clean sheets on both occasions v Dereham Town and Grays Athletic.
Centre half Sam Keefe who is 19, is expected to make his debut v Brentwood this coming Monday. A gutsy and determined defender, joined the Addicks at Under 14 level. Making 18 appearances for the Under 18s last season, before making the step up to Under 23s this season. Keefe has skippered the Under 18s on occasions last season even chipping in with 2 goals.
Tilbury boss Marc Harrison is delighted with the new signings. He said "Liam and I are delighted to have been trusted with Joe and Sam. Joe has arrived and shown real presence and his application has been rewarded with the team gaining two consecutive clean sheets. Sam will be in for a Monday’s fixture against Brentwood and we all look forward to meeting Sam. Derren and Peter at Charlton have been excellent with Tilbury and we have every intention on making the boys stay with us positive and beneficial for all involved.
