Tilbury have announced yet another signing, making a statement of intent. Experienced defender/midfielder Lee Burns joins the club. The 37 year old has been suffering with injuries, but is now fully fit and raring to go.

Burns has played in excess of 400 games for East Thurrock, since firstly arriving in 2000. He had a short spell away from the club before returning. He has also played for Braintree Town and Dartford (appeared 275 times) where he became a fans favourite.

It is expected Burns will be in the squad on Saturday away to Coggeshall Town.

Dockers boss Marc Harrison said "Lee is vastly experienced player, who has played around 700 non league games"
