Tilbury achieve a well deserved three points away to Witham Town to make it 3 successive wins and move up to 10th in the league.
Tilbury saw a debut for Brian Moses who popped up in the final minute to score and Abdus Salami and George Sykes returned to the side.
The first action of the game fell on 13 when Ola Ogunwamide crossed to the back post and the ball missed everyone and hit the post. Just seconds later Ogunwamide again went close with a low shot, well saved by Marsh. The Woodwork came to the rescue again for the home side on 18 when this time George Sykes left foot volley, struck the top of the bar. Just before the half hour, Witham's defence was breached and with the goal gaping, George Sykes header hit the bar and cleared. Before the break Marcus Bowers went close with a cheeky back heel, dealt with by Connor Wheatley and George Bugg saw a low effort hit the side netting.
Both sides had half chances early in the second half, with Tilbury the more likely side to score. With 10 minutes to go Brian Moses put wide at the back post when it looked like he would score. A dangerous run by sub Lewis Hewitt saw his effort go over, before George Sykes was denied by a fine Marsh save. With the game looking like a goalless draw, Ola Ogunwamide in the final minute unleashed a fierce effort that flew into the net, despite Marsh getting a hand to the ball.
Deep into injury time, Tilbury confirmed the points when George Sykes played the ball in to Brian Moses who nipped in and scored between the keeper and the post for a fine strike.
Tilbury have a 2 week break from league action. On Tuesday night, the Dockers take a short trip to Basildon United in the league cup, before FA Cup action at Biggeswade on Saturday.
