Timperley U16 14 - Mellor 5

Firstly - thanks again for a strong turn out. We have had great attendances this season to date.

We got off to a good start with Simon scoring the opening goal assisted by Lucas. Other goals in this quarter from Nathan, Josh B (assist by Freddie), Lucas & James H
Q1: 5-0
We seemed to have lost some steam in the second quarter, Mellor got their first 2 goals but Nathan & Joe got 2 more for TLC.
Q2: 7-2
In the third, Mellor got off to a strong start, scoring their 3rd & 4th. Timperley called a 'TO' and there was some a clear message to the the boys. Fortunatley Tim (assist from Josh P), Pick (assist from Nathan)and Joe responded with a series of strong goals.
Q3: 10-4
In the final quarter, Timperley got 4 more (Lucas, James H x2 & Josh B) with Mellor only squeezing 1 more in.
Final Score: 14-5.
Other good play from Grady showing good speed & his usual great dodging skills. Harry & Conor also showed promising form.
What we need now is more consistent play throughout all quarters, particularly as we have our cup match vs. Sheffield next Saturday.
Try and make training on Wednesday.
